This showcases an audio design project I created this semester. I am reciting lyrics from Lizzo’s number one hit – truth hurts. In this project I had to incorporate sounds from YouTube’s audio library in with my reading.
Audio Design
Using Adobe Audition, as demonstrated in class, I assembled and mixed a multi-track audio piece that was 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds long.
I record myself reading an excerpt from one of my favorite songs; Truth Hurts by Lizzo.
I used sound effects to enhance my audio piece and create a soundscape that helped support my topic.
I created this multi-track project in Audition exported the file as an .mp3 audio file.
Reflection: This Audio Design project was not my strong suite. It was not that it was difficult, more so that I was not very confident in my ability to produce a god audio peace; i think the project reflects that. It could have been better! i recorded my sound in an empty classroom and the sound could have been a little crisper. I also read like an Elementary school teacher…my mom taught me so well. Overall, this project challenged me more than any other one we had this semester, but now I can say I at least know how to do it right next time.
